I've got plenty of meat in the freezer...and no, it wouldn't be divorce papers, I exaggerate severely! I have a FANTASTIC wife! And no, she isn't looking over my shoulder. grin

Meeting trucks on the hwy hauling fishing gear towards the lake is starting to wear on me. I'm starting to feel it, feels like it might be time to fish.

Simply awesome. I could have actually used it for a couple of weeks here last winter. None this year though. Just some flurries. NO accumulation.

Goodness, that Sno-Cat is awesome.

Been getting stuff ready to ice fish here in NE Missouri and now we have 4-6 iched on top of rotten ice that never got but 2-3" thick and now the weather man is calling for 50F Thursday.

Might have to schedule a trip north just to get my fix.

You will have to check out Devils Lake HG, that's ND's big fishery, walleye & big perch. Interesting story of the lake that won't stop growing too.

Seriously, what's the deepest snow--or drift, you've blasted through? I think I'm going to grab the "Zone", and come up just for a ride in that monster!

I'm sorry man, that's just my regular face. I was born with a crabby look. If I forget to purposely try to look happy people just assume I'm a crabby old bazderd. grin

Here, I remembered to TRY to smile in this one.... grin

Years ago, my SIL and I fished one of my honey holes in May at Stockton Lake for walleye. We were casting WiggleWarts into the pea gravel banks. One 18" keeper all morning, but way over a dozen in the 17-17 3/4" range. Makes you cry to throw back those fish. We went back to the truck for lunch and visited with a guy that said that the new limit was 15". HELLO!

They have to be 18" or longer to be legal anything shorter has to go back.

Tedhorn, so do you guys keep like 22" or bigger and fillet them or what???

We have differ slot limits up here for certain lakes.. But for the most part I put back anything over 19".....
