Anybody have a pair of Minox 8x25, 10x42 or 8x42 BF binos, or the 10x44BP binos? The only Minox's I've had were the 6.5x32IF's which were excellent and cameralandny's sales are too good to pass up; so, anybody have any of the above listed binos and, if so, how do you like them?

I have the 10X44 BP's and the 8X44 BP's and I paid more than Doug's current sale price.

If I had any additional binocular need at all I'd buy another BP. Friends have purchased the BP's and are "knocked out."

Great binocular - and incredible price right now.

If you are considering a full size glass I would go with the BP. The BP's are as bright and sharp as $1000 roof prism binoculars. About the only thing they lack compared to some premium roof prisms is a small FOV but it has not limited their usefullness for me. The Minox BF/BV roof prisms are not in the same league as the BP.

I have the also discontinued Leupold version of the BP in a 8x42 (wind river cascade porro) and it has proven to be an excellent glass for the money-very bright and sharp in its sweet spot-brighter than my SLC NEU 8x30 which is saying a lot.

I recently picked up the 10x44 BP as a back up 10x-just received it today and have been giving it a look over, I was concearned the 268 foot FOV would be like looking through a tunnel but the view is comparable to my 8x version. Very happy with the bino and price.

The Leupold cascade porro is a little lighter and trimmer than the Minox BP but they are discontinued and hard to find. This bino is also currently offered by Opticron as the HP WP model if I remember correctly.

The build construction on my BP and Cascade is also impressive as is the internal focus design.

cameraland also has the 8x44 BP and if I did not have the Cascade I would be picking one of those up also-even at the $300 price.

My brother recieved his 10x44 BP's in the mail yesterday...Course the first thing we did was take them up on the hill to a couple units and do some glassing..

I was very impressed with these binoculars...I compared them extensively to my 10x43 Zen ED2's that I bought a couple months ago and if I had to do it again I would buy the Minox's...They seemed a tad brighter to me and a awesome view.

I called a buddy last night and recommended them to him...I think he ordered a set...I am so confident that he will like them that if for some reason he didn't,I told him that I would buy them from him..

Fantastic price...
