I found this: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/83942-new-rifle/page__hl__shroud

Hoping there is some way to get rid of the plastic one on an A7

Whatever a 7x57 can do a 270 can do better.

I think Sammo replaced his A7 shroud with one of those "new improved" ones.

He doesn't have much else to do, except shovel snow.

Sam did replace his with a regular Mod 85 shroud, he said it went right on easy as pie, he put up a picture of it and it looked great, I would do this if I bought an A7...........Hillbilly.

We got blasted pretty good last night. Needed 4x4 to get out of the driveway, country was drift central. Got home about 30 minutes ago, took a hot shower and found some whiskey!

Brownells had 'em this Summer.

Oh yeah Craig it was a slick deal, looks better and is solid steel unlike the plastic covered version.

I might spray paint the bottom plastic silver next.....grin

Takes less than a minute to swap, turn the old one off, turn the new one on.

Tape is redneck palm swell.
