About 80 grains of Pyrodex of 3f Goex and a 240-250 grain projectile should be safe.

We can't anymore CVA ran them (and Knight) out of business by dumping sub-standard products on the American market.

Well, I see an information thread, turned into a "my dads tougher than your dad" thread. Fact of the matter is, I've owned 3 Knights MK-85 (never should have sold for a new and improved 209 ignition) Hated the disk, Disk Extreme was ok, a Remington 700ML, 2 Encores. I liked the Knights, liked the Remington (hated to clean it) The Encores were Junk, and although I've seen many Encores shoot well, will never buy another. CVA Apex, looks good, feels good, appears to be very well made, and CVA guarantees accuracy. Verdict is not out yet, as I have not shot it.... So I guess this thread is DEAD. Still need info on loads. Thanks to those who gave some useful input.

I run 110 grains of BH209 , 250 grain shockwave(harvester short sabot), Barnes TEZ(factory blue sabot) with a cci primer and have zero problems getting extremely tight groups..They can flat out shoot extremely well. DId i tell you they are a breeze to clean one of the brightest, smoothest bores out there.

what ran TC out of business were all their paid shooters.

Knight shot them selves in the foot by producing rifles that were out dated and used plastic primer thingy ma jiggers.
