Back in 1998 G&A published this magazine. It was much like a G&A reloading manual if you will. Most of it was written by G.Sitton and Finn Aagard, two writers who I really liked a lot. Some other good writers also took part. I don't believe any of "our" gun scribes took part in this, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if a volume 2 will ever come out. I have referenced this piece of work I don't know how many times. It would be great to have a newer edition with some of today's newer cartridges/loads in it. Thanks much--2MG

I have several "special issues" from G&A, Petersen's Hunting, Shooting Times, etc... from the 70s, 80s & 90s that centered on Deer Rifles, Big Game Rifles, Big Book Of Cartridges, etc... I haven't seen one in recent years. I wish they would bring them back, but am not sure they have the staff to pull it off anymore. One mag would have articles from Boddington, Wooters, Sitton, O'Connors, Milek, Aagard, etc... It seems you are pretty lucky these days if any one magazine has access to 2 good "rifle" gun writers these days. Not complaining as I understand things change and bow hunting, black powder, etc... are popular enough now to take up pages that should be dedicated to rifle hunting <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> Incidentally, I do bow & ml hunt, just don't get so excited about the weapon.
