grin I love it when reality hits home and you good ol' boys are faced with the fact every liberal wasn't hatched in CA...but sure as hell, he'll end up here.
So, who's boycotting?

Pithy and well-said!

This dumb-shiit like the ditsee chicks has earned a life-long boycott from me. Never payed much attention to brooks' music - now I know why.

Won't do much but make me feel good!

Used to like Trisha yearwood, but methinks that's changed too. Guilt by association? Yup.

Ol' Garth doesn't care. He's laughing all the way to the bank. He did a series of concerts recently in N'ville. The place was sold out. He can say and do as he pleases, people will pay big dollars to hear him.

I've never really cared for Garth's music. His notions about politics are even worse. Maybe he should retire again...

My sentiments exactly. Were it possible I'd shake your hand on that Sir.

Don't forget that Garth wrote a song (I forget which one), to support Slick Willy during the whole Lewiniski scandal.

Garth's early music was fantastic, but when he got on his whole "I'm sincere, really!" bit, I lost all interest in him.

Brian.

And don't forget Garth's support of various liberal idiots running for office in years past here in Oklahoma. Anyone remember the campaign ads for Dave McCurdy for senate in '94? I can't believe this is all news to everyone else all of a sudden.

What do you expect for a bunch of idiots who were orange year-round, graduated Dexter Manley, and have their football field running east-west.

Note that brains and vocal cords are not necessarily attached.

And skull-[bleep] it and ran it into the ground so deep it may never fully recover. Just look at the jackasses that claim to be "country" artists today.

Garth talking about country music or politics is like Kenny Chesney talking about chicks. Neither one has any experience.....
