Check this one out. I think there is a similar page in the elk hunting section asking about the 110 tsx for elk.

Get a few boxes of them and the vmax, load them up and start shooting.

The M24 IS a normal LA 700. Nothing special is/was done to them. When loading slide the rounds all the way back in the magazine...

Probably doesn't help you much, but it works just fine in my Mod 70. Although it did come from the factory with a mag box, spring, follower, and spacer designed for the task.

I'm not a gunsmith, but I would think with the proper spring, follower and spacer something similar could be achieved in a LA 700.
