I have been doing some cleaning and came across a few sets of Ajax Sambar stag grips and don't have a use for them. I have been trying to do some research on them and found that Sambar can not be imported anymore and that Ajax is no longer in buisness. I have grips are for a Ruger Blackhawk/Vacquero and also Smith and Wesson I believe N frame. The model # on the grips ois 19. Does anyone know how much these are worth?

I can tell you I offered Eagle Sambar Stag grips for a 3 screw ruger for sale and got no offers... I guess I was overpriced at $175.

I have already looked there. I couldn't find a pair on there. I expected to see some but there was none. That's when I posted here.

I'd like to hear a price on the ones that fit a Smith revolver.

Locally, at gun shows, the asking price range looks to be $50-$75 which would seem to be reasonable. I believe the (temporary?) shortage of sambar grips is due to the Indian government placing a moratorium on the taking/exporting of sambar. (In 2005 a stockpile of pre-moratorium sambar was released by the Indian government.) As I recall the two-fold reason for the moratorium was to (1) allow the herds of sambar to increase in number and (2) to encourage the Indian grip making industry to establish itself in major markets, such as the USA.
