Is anyone using this pack? If so what do you like or dislike about it? I am in the market for a new one this year.

They are well made and I see a bunch of tall guys sing them, but forme it felt like my sons pack. They have a very thin belt as well.

I have both the Dragonfly J107 and GSII. While I can't comment on the X2 I can comment on EB packs themselves.

Outstanding! Well thought out. Functional, designed well, constantly improving their design. Lots of good accessories. I hunt with both my packs, carrying my rifle in their internal scabbards. I've gone in "light" and come out "heavy" just as their advertising states, carrying lots of elk meat out.

This past Fall I trusted my J107 to carry my extremely custom Pre 64 M70 in 257 Rob.

I had one mishap with my J107. I was headed up to Alaska in Sept 2008 on a Grizzly hunt and my pack was my carry-on luggage so it was packed very heavy with my clothes, optics, emergency gear, etc. Went to lift the pack up on my back via the carry handle on top and it gave way. Upon return home I contacted Glen EB and he had me mail it to "his house" with pre-paid UPS shipping. He personally repaired it for free and sent it back to me. That's awesome CS.

I've hunted with my X2 for two years (sadly no stories of hauling out meat). But, nonetheless, I've been very pleased with the pack for what I've done with it so far. I also have a J107, and for those times when you need to haul a lot it is quite nice. I usually keep my rifle in my hands, but those occasions negotiating very steep terrain it is really nice to put the rifle in the scabbard.

My daughter and I have switched of using one for several years. It can haul a good load. I use it when she's not with me, otherwise I use the 105 I have.

I've got the J107 also. No issues or complaints. Wish they'd put a rifle scabbard on the X2. Maybe next year.
