Nice hog. That beautiful ivory in a darker corner of the man cave, and professionally lighted, will start a conversation every time.

Good going!

Looks like your Juistzoo outfitter put you on them. That was the same place I took my first trio of wartie, impala and kudu. I had heard that your kudu bases were big and the rumor was right!

Glad to see someone else realizes the 308 plenty for most plains game. I just returned too, got a Kudu, Waterbuck, Impala and a Warthog, the warthog was a juvenile, but due to the weather (overcast, cool-cold, windy, etc,) the only one we saw with teeth so we took it, but will have to go back for another one..

I used my own handloads with the 150gr bt TTSX bullet, in front of 45.5 grs of A4064. Chronographed the load when I got back (scope had went south on the gun, due to someone at the range knocking it over, and not telling me), so only had time to get the rifle resighted with this stuff..anyway, chrono shows 2650fps, and I discovered I had the scope set on 4x so turned it up to 7, first 3 on 4x in 2" 2nd 3 on 7x, in less than an inch..I'd have shot 5 per group, but wanted some of the ammo to use this fall..

My rifle was my Winchester 88..

I'd post some pictures, but don't know how. Let me know and I'll get them on.
