For <100 gr bullets H380 & RL15, everything else IMR4350 and Hunter.

I could go w/ nothing but RL15 in mine and would not really be giving anything up, but I run only 75s, 90s, and 100s. I'm sure if I were running anything >100 I'd be more hung up on the 4350.

R15 with the 85 NBT and H4350 with the 100 grainers.

Getting ready to try Ramshot Hunter with the 80 TTSX.

There is no accounting for taste.

I started with the oft-recommended IMR4350 with my newest 257. Wouldn't work with 117's 100's or 120's. This rifle likes IMR4064 with 75gr VMax's, and H4831sc with 120gr Sierra's. Ya just never know til you try.

IMR 4350 and IMR 7828 worked well in mine with 100gr. pills

This is spot on with what I have been using for some time, when my RL15 ran short a few years back, I switched to H4895 and it worked very well.
Maybe I am lazy, after getting the loads dialed in I just go shooting/hunting (I buy 5 or 8#'s of H4350 and RL15).
I love my 257 Roberts, haven't been with out one (or two when I can get away it) since 1976, it just works.

I got a few good groups with 115ballistic tip and h100v, but the loads weren't consistantly accurate.

RL19 with either 115bt or 117 interlock have been more consistantly accurate.

43.5grn RL19 with the 115grn bt at 2.881" is my go to right now.

43grn RL 19 with the 117grn interlock at 2.78" was my whitetail load for the previous 3yrs or so.

I haven't had a .257 for several years. When I did its best load was the 120 Gr. Hornady HP with an over max load of I4831. My barrel must have been a "slow" one since I had to go over max. in order to get 2800 fps with the 120 gr. bullet.
