I've played with both the Federal TB loads over the years. My .308's won't shoot either of them very well. The best it will do in my heavy Rem 700 VSFS is about 1.5 MOA which is far from what this rifle usually does. My Winchester M70 FWT is even worse. Try 2.5 MOA or even more.
So I pulled those very expensive bullets and reloaded them. The basic 165 gr. load that seems to shoot anything well in the M70 rifle is 46 grs. of Varget with WW cases.
But not these. 44 grs. shot 1.0. 45 grs. shot 1.8, and 46 grs. went 3.8 MOA ? Hmmm. E
