123gr A maxes are awesome, and 44.5gr of H4350 give me right at 2950fps which really gets out there! Got to love those .264 bullets, they are like little missiles! T.S.

Eating crow sucks. Ran my schit sans moly and won't do that crap again. Shooting 2 rifles required 6 cleanings total for a day of only 100ish rounds. Cleaned my 260 more that day than I have since I put it together. Fook that....

It did show some promise with Varget. Not even close to hitting any pressure signs yet. At least I wont have to dump it in the lawn.

I'd like to find some of those little missiles. Almost tried some 123 SST's. Same BC, but didn't like the horror stories I heard about them. I'm sure the Amax will come back around...

What horror stories have you heard about the 123g SST?

Evidently they are geared more for Grendel speeds, come to pieces, and not the most accurate bullet on the block. Read it on the eenernet so it must be true.

So you're one of the ten or twenty people on earth who still uses moly? I'm sorry.

Loaded 108 Scenars in my 260AI at about 3275. Worked pretty good on pigs. Need to shoot something bigger with them and see how they hold up. Got an exit.

All schit aside, if you are having problems with fouling after going to naked bullets, I'm wondering if the moly wasn't completely cleaned from the barrel ahead of time? Something was wrong if you needed to clean that frequently; I often go several hundred rounds without cleaning my rifles (none of which have seen a molyed bullet in over a decade). Were you shooting dirty butt powders, such as H414?

I didn't know there was any other powder than R17 wink

Barrel was naked as a jay bird. Varget and R-15 with 108 Scenars, R-15 with 120 TTSX, H4831SC and H4350 with 140 NPT's. Slight smorgasbord. Cleaned that rig more in a day than I had in 2 years.

Weird! I've had one barrel that did quite literally the opposite.

Most barrels the moly didn't do a darned thing, and was enough of a PITA that I abandoned it.

I reckon it could go either way. I can do without the cleaning. I know it worked before so its going back.

Curious to see what my 270 does. Its never been done, so maybe that'll be the test.

I use the 130 Norma diamond line in my 6.5 and they are moly. I bought several hundred of them. They work real well. After 100 rounds I will run a bore brush through in addition to the solvent. That's about all I do. I would never coat my own bullets.

I see they exited behind the shoulder.

Thanks for the post. The 108 is one of those enigma bullets on game because not many shoot it. From the blood splatter on the rock I'd day it opened well.

I can't get out these days so please keep us informed. Be real good to see good one caught after quartering.

I opened one up and laid it on the rock belly first to dry out before I put it in my pack. It rolled down the hill and stopped in a bush about 8' above the bottom.

I have and took 3 deer with them last October, 44 gr H 4350 for a bit over 2900 fps and good accuracy. You can read more if you wish about it all here.

I have killed several feral horses with a 130 Accubond, didn't know they made a 129??..

I thought 129 was a Hornady thing. I have shot the 129 SSTs.
