If you hand load, Managed Recoil loads from Remington is using IMR 4198 Powder....I disassembled a batch in different calibers to verify that...
It may LOOK like IMR4198 but that doesn't mean that it is.. Mike

I have a lot of requests for '06 size, managed recoil stuff for youth. Trick is, I think, is to send a quality bullet of 110 to 130 grains downrange at 2300 to 2500 fps. Heavy clothes, soft recoil pad and hearing protection with muffs over plugs is a must.
Vary this starting point as required, and for game and range. The Speer #13 has lots of loads to onsider.

It may LOOK like IMR4198 but that doesn't mean that it is.. Mike yeah, but when you chronograph it also, and it corresponds to the same MV as the same charge of IMr 4198, you can safely assume it is either 4198 or a powder that looks just like it and has the same burn rate... disassemble, then chronograph the factory and a handloaded one to see if both chronograph the same...
