Ok, like I said, I don't think it's fair chase, but you do have my interest. I was reading over on your forum about your project with the .300 Tomahawk and a 34" barrel. That sounds like a fun project to get into. Did you try the 44" barrel you were continuously mentioning over there? If so, what kind of velocities did you get? If not, hurry up already!!!! lol
Could you let us know what that thing can do? Like I said, I am kinda interested. Thanks.

Hello Big Hunter

The 44" is just standing by for when the testing is done on the Tomahawk, which now wears a 34" barrel. Can't rush into this till I'm sure that's the best way to go.

The weather has turned so cold haven't been shooting as of late.

Have two new barrels to break in before the matches start at Williamsport. Got a lot going right now.

Will let the forum know as the tests procede.

Later

My dad is 7mmbuster, and as far as finding a range, the closest thing I can think of is a 500 yard range in Portage, but that wouldn't be far enough to see what you could really do though. As far as other things, we might be able to find an open area to 1000 yards and get permission somehow to shoot on it. I hope things work out. It'd be neat having some of you guys showing us your craft.

You don't have to find a range, just come to one of the matches at Williamsport, PA and see what is done there. With 227 Average shooters per match, I'm sure you will find some interest there .

If that don't work, I have 3000 yards of shooting from my own property in Cameron County. North Central PA
