Berettaman,I drive a 2002 Trailblazer which we bought new.I inherited it when Linda got a new Escape last September.I had a choice and I traded my 2006 Colorado with 28,00 miles in on her car and I took the Trailblazer with 105,000 miles which had been hers.I feel like I got the best of the deal.Trailblazer is one of the absolute best vehicles GM ever made.Right now it has 115,000 miles and runs like new.

Well the grocery getter got bought. Bought a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country in Clearwater Blue. I cant see the folks here getting as excited over this purchase as over Tzone's truck for some reason! But Berettawife is happy and really, isnt that all that matters?

Seems like a pretty nice ride, very clean and had the options we wanted with nothing more. Now, about that bow....

Oh, and since I already had someone here inquire about the Trailblazer, if'n ya know anyone who wants to buy a 2006 with all the options including heated seats and remote start, send them this-a-way!

We're up to 6 or 7 gallons on the choke cherries now, hard to tell exactly in these big buckets.

I have to agree with you Stan. I have a 2004 Trailblazer with 91,000 miles on it and I have never had any trouble with it. Except getting it stuck on the way out of Camp Chickenbuck. laugh

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Well Tzone, the Tundra would have prolly gotten stuck if it had ever seen a gravel road!

Some would say, if you havent gotten it stuck, you aint drivin' it!

Hey Dave, r u finding them choke cherries in the woods or by yuor house? i'd like to get some for the f_n_law to make some wine. he kinda likes doing that. His grapes are crazy this year so that wine will be ready to start soon i would think too. Hey BMAN, you got a Chi-Town Bears van, Good luck with that. a big C on the side in orange and yuo'll be set. When you coming up Tzone, da fall is coming close.

It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

Haven't picked any in the woods by camp yet, just around home and I also stopped along a back road on my route home yesterday and picked some more.

Just go cruise a few minimum maint roads with the ranger and You'll find em. I bet if you got on the old railroad tracks and followed for a while you'd find more than you could pick. They do the best on edges. Edges of the brush/woods of any type, trail edges, field edges etc.

Well you can't exactly call the chickenbuck road gravel. It went through some good stuff. Pulling a trailer to boot. The first year I was up there, truthfully, I was surprised it made it through. That stuff was deep. On the way out, it was 2x4. No Chevy's doin that. laugh

I'm not sure. I would say October at this point. I know my dad wants to come up and get some goodies from Dave, so maybe we could work that into a chickenbuck trip?

(Gasp! Gag!) A Bears van? That may be worse than the Packer van! Note to self: Birth of a Deer camp is good for comraderie, not so good for picking out colors. Some seriously poor taste in NFL teams abide here!

Clearwater Blue folks, Clearwater Blue. We dont get it for a couple days though.

Dad had me eat a raw chokecherry when I was a kid. They are aptly named.

My SIL has a Towne & Country van with nearly 100K on it with no problems. Should be a good vehicle for the wife. Too bad about the color though. smile
