The 2 person got renamed a 3 person. Same tent, same size, just most were sleeping 3 in the tent.

I'm going to order your 6-man special today. Are there colors that are in stock for those who couldn't care less about color?

I've been comparing yours to a Kifaru 8 man just with the information I have been able to find online, and I see yours as a better product. Now I have never had the pleasure of having both to physically compare, but from what I have found I do believe I will be ordering an 8 man Seekoutside tipi in the very near future.

That looks like its quite a bit bigger than a Supertarp??

I stole Elcope's Supertarp before he left for AT for 3 weeks to live in while I get some scouting done. I'm liking that layout better than the same footage in a tipi...

What material are you using in your tents? Silnylon from overseas?

US made Silicone Impregnated Nylon 30d (aka silnylon), with UV inhibitors, 6.6 thread (the better stuff). 1500 MM hydro head rating (unless specified). We are going to carry a Silver, and give it a try, and it has a little lower rating, probably not enough to make much difference.

Now that I've seen a seekoutside in person (I've got a Kifaru 12 man that I'd be pissed about if I'd paid full retail), seekoutside is my first recommendation in tipis. Planning a full comparison post, but I'm very backlogged with stuff right now.

Where is the stove jack located in the Breakaway Tarp?

The side covered in the photo, about 2/3 the way up, it isn't on the one in the photo, but that is where we have put them.

Since there has been a bit of discussion on our 8 person tipi here is a video of the 8 person and an update on seekoutside stuff.



Fabrics, we will have Taupe back in stock soon, and we are adding Silver to the line up in limited availability at first.

Production 8 persons should be ready in the next 3 weeks or so. A few things are different with this tent. First it will come with an integrated rear screen door that is smaller. The stove jack will also be included in the price as well. So while it seems more expensive, a lot more is included in the price. The introductory pricing will end at the end of the month. Initially, it will be offered with a few different options, including a DWR liner, 2 person DWR (outside) nests, with a half nest that is DWR on the outside / screen on the inside coming soon.

In addition an extra large titanium stove will be available soon, which should offer a fairly long burn time.
