kend Campfire Outfitter K Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 7,821 Oregon	The river is low now, but fun trout fishing. I caught my first steelhead in the upper calapooia. Elk and Deer nearby as well and the price is right. It would be a fun place to retire. The South Santiam is nearby and has great summer steelhead fishing and spring chinook. Two lakes within 20 miles too and skiing in the winter is about 45 miles away.

However, you might want to point out to the listing agent that the waypoint on the map is pretty far away from the actual house. It took a bit of looking to find the actual location (down and right from the mark). Rick

Great place to grow up and be a kid, football in the back yard someone always went swimming!
