There is NO FLYROD UTOPIA!!!! But a high end RL Winston 4 piece 5 wt is CLOSE...

Now Dan, don't be bringin' that rod to the Keys looking to snare a bonefish. I think the first part covers it.

It isn't. There was a fellow a few years back making 150 grain bullets for the .25s. Used a 7" twist. Haven't heard much about it in over a decade.

150's would be a bit much but a 130 would be nice for the bigger 25's.

Why would anyone want a 6.5 Creedmore, when the 260, 6.5x55, 6.5-284, and 264 Win are all available?

I guess if one wants a factory rifle and/or accurate factory ammo option it's a good one.

That said it seems that Lapua 260 brass has alot of Tactical guys running back to that round about 10-1 vs. the CM or 47L. So it seems.

I have (2) 6.5 sporters in the works, one or both will be in 260. Owned a few over the years - very balanced round IMO i.e. blast/recoil/accuracy/ballistics/barrel life, and kills alot of game well.

No doubt the Creed more or less overlaps w/260 and 6.5x55 performance. Not a bad place to be.
