Almost finished installing new living room floor. It is a 4.5mm vinyl laminate. Has interlocking edges that stick to each other, not the sub floor. Called African dark wood. I have a Shehane laminate gunstock made of African obeche woods of those colors.
I like that floor......good job.

Home Depot, special order. They have several types in stock.
Pretty easy to install. The surface "planks" are 5"x36".
You can score it with a knife and break it or use tin shears.
