Last time I cleaned them they were covered in dry blood of several antelope. I used a brush with water to break up the stains and than a wash cloth to mop up. After they were dry I applied the Filson Wax and hung them in a bathroom with a small heater. They didn't look brand new but they were much cleaner and were still waterproof. Good luck!
