Battue,
My shooting spot is snowed in.
Went yesterday and got my truck stuck!
Managed to get the 308 sighted in and with the first load I tried it was MOA. no surprise really.

Brad,
Thank you. I always enjoy your post.
You have fine taste in rifles and your elk hunting skills are admirable.

I haven't really decided to be totally honest. I ran some 168 Nosler BT's with 4451 for it's first run. It seemed to shoot those fairly well.

I tried to like that Weaver K4, but after that range trip, I came home and pulled it and put a M8 4X Leupold on it.

This next time around I loaded up some 200 grain Accubonds and some 125 Ballistic Tips.

I have never owned a 30-06 so I am kinda monkeying around a little with it. Figure I'll get some fired cases and then get serious with a bullet.

Not too different from mine. Except swapping the Weaver for the Z3 on mine.

Local Dirt,

That's a beauty. That Swarovski looks like a nice match.

irfubar, Thanks. And it is. Pull the rifle to my shoulder and it is right there. Perfect match for the rifle size and weight wise, too. Bought the scope on recommendation from handwerk, who I bought the rifle from here on the forum.

What's the caliber on the Super Grade? Classic?
