Fly Roger...It will be cheaper than RT gas for your truck. I'll pick you up at the airport.

For those that are flying in, is there a shuttle that will take them to the lodge? I just might be able to do a short hunt like this, would be a kick in the pants to take a boar with my bow.
That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

We've always had folks, who drove to the lodges from home, willing to pick up and take folks back and forth to the airports, when necessary. You'd certainly be no exception.

Nashville is the closest airport, and like isaac said, other members have picked up those who flew in.
Actually, it was isaac who did most of the picking up and dropping off. Typical of his generosity and thoughtfulness.
If you fly in, we'll likely figure out a way to pick you up and drop you off for the return.

If Knoxville is easier for anyone I'll be glad to swing through and pick them up or if they want to fly into BWI we can share the whole trip.

Absolutely! It looks like EvilTwin and I will be making the drive again. I'll have extra room in the Tundra if anyone can tolerate the ride with us . George

So, NH K9 and dvdgeorge, along with isaac and Pugs, are willing to help others get to and from the airport, and have a great hunt.
They are all great guys, but the really neat thing, is that this is typical of the Campfire. Notwithstanding that they are extraordinary guys.
Kinda makes me think that the Fire, and many of the people at the Fire, are pretty special.
And that this is all far more important than just a Boar hunt.

Count me in too. I'll be driving down solo from the Green Bay area. Willing to help out if someone needs a ride from the airport.

Steve....this is getting filled fast. I'll lessen my count to me and my son and wait out a while for any additional possibilities.
Please let me know if you need reimbursement for monies/deposits you fronted to reserve or if I should forward directly to lodge. May I assume reservation is in your name?

jay dub in wi,
Your are in, and glad you are joining us.
Bob,
You and Bobbie are in, and can't get out. Would not be the same without you. And Wilderness can handle 25 of us in one lodge. If it goes over that, I think we can get a second nearby lodge. So, ya'll come. And thanks for the offer of financial help, but it is all covered.
saddlering,
A deposit is not needed until the first week of January, so you have some wiggle room. Hope you can make it.

Steve Yes, the three of us are planning to all hunt. As of now, unless something changes that is. Spoke about driving the motor home down, so the two of them might even sleep in it?

Enjoy, gents.

Rick,
Many thanks for the sticky, it is most helpful.
And it would be more than great if you could make the Boar Hunt, and get the 30 year old scotch whiskey.
But if you cannot make it, can I have the scotch? Trust me, I would really enjoy it, and we would all drink a toast in your honor.
Even if you don't bequeath the scotch to me, we will still drink in your honor.
If it were not for you, none, and I mean absolutely none, of this would be happening.
Good on 'ya friend.
Steve .
