For sale is a FN (Fabrique Nationale) Fab. Nat. D'Armes De Guerre Herstal-Belgique; Belgium: It is a FN Mauser Deluxe Sporter Model 30-06. Manufactured in the early 1950's with a claw extractor made prior to the Browning Bolt Rifles. This gun has a 24" Chrome Vanadium Steel barrel. FN logo on the receiver ring, sliding side tang safety that is ideal for scope use, 2 piece scope mounts, mounted Carl Zeiss 6 X 42 Diatal-D Scope, and hinged floorplate. Cross bolt at the front recoil lug, Synthetic grip cap, Cheekpiece, Wrap around checkering with a border, Sling eyes, FN logo buttplate This gun retains 95% factory blue, The stock is about 90% with typical handling marks, The checkering is at 94%, The bore is excellent plus. This gun will produce 3/4 to 1" groups at 100 yards. This is a family heirloom that I just dont have any use for anymore since I quit traveling to Colorado for big game hunts. Pictures can be supplied upon request due to the fact that I can not post my pictures because I get an error message due to size. I am asking a very fair price of $1250.00 for the entire package. If you know anything about this brand scope they are some of the finest scopes and mounts ever made and very expensive.

RUT WRO......

The rifle finally arrived today (shipped 10/3 !). The seller overlooked the rusty bolt knob and the fact that the top half of the receiver sight was missing. That's the bad news. The good news is he also had no idea the real value of FN factory installed claw mounts, the 6X Zeiss is also perfect.
Needs to work on his communications skill if he plans to sell here.

As for AFTERRUM, here's a thought:
