1. I now see the wisdom and merits of much older generations.
2. Technology makes things cheaper, easier, and less labor intensive, but not necessarily better.

Remington 700 BDL Sort of a walking varminter 21" Douglas #1 SS chambered in 6x47 Remington. 1 to 8" twist. McMillian Hunters EDGE olive. Barrel and action Cerakoted in tungsten grey. Bolt, bottom metal and Talley lightweights coated in graphite black. Callahan firing pin and shroud. Great job by Eddie Fosnaugh on the Cerakote and he adjusted the factory trigger to 2.5 lbs. But, I decided to drop in the factory action I have sitting here. Looks pretty good as it is. Maybe it's time to order another stock...
