Supposing one came across a NIB Kimber 8400 Montana in the long discontinued and hard to find 7mm WSM chambering.
What would some people pay for such a rifle?

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

A local dealer had one last year he'd had forever. I think it sold (new) for $950. I wish I'd bought it instead of the POS 7/08 84M I did buy.

They are as elusive as a leprachaun now. I would say $1000-$1200 would be in the price range.

The local shop here has an 8400 Classic in 7wsm that's been on the shelf FOREVER. I keep thinking I'll walk in one day and it will be gone, but it hasn't happened yet. Been gathering dust for yearzzzzzzzz....

No -- but I'll check tomorrow. I'm certain it's less than $1000. They used to sell new 84m Classics for $859. It will be late afternoon, but I'll send you a PM.

I sold mine a couple of years back for $1400 shipped w/ talleys, dies, and some brass. It was in pretty good shape, but certainly not new in box.
I did notice that Prophet River has one in 300 wsm for 1139-ish.

Kimber7man,
You are correct - it is Whittakers! So you're the guy who got the bobs before I could generate the funds. Did you get the Montana and the Classic Select?

Turner's Outdoorsman down in Reseda, CA had a Montana 7WSM for sale a few weeks ago, around $950ish.
