What is a 6 WOA?
Did a search and didn't produce much if any info. Can someone tell me about ballistics etc? I assume it's a 6mm, necked down/up, please "Splain it" for me.

It's a 6.8 SPC necked down.
Really fantastic cartridge...

Look at White Oak Precision/White Oak Armament.
Much as I am convinced that John Holliger and crew are the best there are for an AR in most calibers, there are others out there.
Might check Dtechs version of the sorta same thing, I forget what it was but it beats the 6mm in performance. Maybe the 30 rem necked down? Mike is good folks too, John swears by it, and thats gold for me.

I plan on talking to DTech and some other's I've come up with. I asked elsewhere and got some good info.
I've always thought 243 performance in an AR-15 would be about prefect for me and this might be what I'm looking for.

The 6mm woa is not a 243 at all performance wise, but John Holliger is the one that came up with the round at the time and named it.
I don't need 243 and had the 6mm woa from him which is really accurate and works great on the target range, but mine is a hunter with 85 tsx strictly.
BUT if you want more... and don't want a 243 wssm(no flies on that either in the AR15) then get with Mike over at Dtech.
Those 2 at this point are about the only AR smiths I'd personally trust. THere is one other but I can't recall the name right now...

mine first one is strictly a varmint rifle that Dan Cary built with a 22 in barrel. I load 58,65,and 75 grain Vmaxes in it and love it so much I got another one that Mikr at Dtech built. It is a heavy barrel 24 inch with a Dtech comp on it that I am building a lower for. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions john
How can I tell you bye if you wont leave?
