I have a very nice Model 600 vent rib carbine in .308 for sale. The original finished stock is very good, with only a couple of very minor dings. The recoil lug and first inch of barrel have been bedded with epoxy. The rifle has been to Remington for the trigger/safety modification that allows the bolt to operate with the safety on. There is an aftermarket Pachmayer recoil pad on it, but I do not think the stock has been cut down, or otherwise altered. The vent rib has a crack under the front sight, and the rear sight is missing. The plastic trigger guard has a couple of scratches in it, and it appears to be bowed slightly in the middle. The metal is in very nice condition, although there is some blueing wear at the muzzle. The bore is in nice shape, and I had no problem getting 1" groups with Hornady ammo.Leupold one piece base and low rings are included. Thats it, the good, and hopefully not the so bad and ugly. Asking $550 shipping included.

These are nice guns. Sportsman's Guide out of Minnesota had replacement trigger guards available for these at one time. They may still have them. It was fairly common for the trigger guard to warp or bow on these. As for the rib, I would think there would be replacements available for these too. Bump for a good gun here.

I am suprised at the lack of interest in this handy little carbine. I don't think my asking price is out of sight, but I'll consider offers.
