I traded for a remington sendero in 300wm today, its not the typical sendero, it has a blued barrel and is stamped "sendero special" on it, and the stock is not wide on the forarm. Is this a special run? seems to be a nice gun may call remington tomorrow but just checking to see if anyone know anything about this one, thanks alot

I think it is an early sendaro. I also think they had 24" barrels.

Yes you are right, just got off the phone with remington a few minutes ago, was an early one with 24" barrel and a 1 & 10 twist. thanks

i had a 300 win mag like yours several years ago, only i believe mine had a 26" barrel. it was my "beanfield" rifle, and would knock a whitetail on his a$$ as far as i was comfortable shooting across my soybean fields. i used win factory 180gr ballistic tip ammo as the rifle shot them so well. i sold it after a couple seasons, but never regretted owning the rifle. "heavy but accurate" is how i would describe mine.
