I figured I would share my favorite rub recipe.

2 Tbs Paprika
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
1 Tbs Oregano
1 Tbs Lemon Pepper
1 Tsp Cinammon
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Pepper

I've used this on meat I have grilled and plan on trying it in the smoker this spring. I really like the taste. It is a hit with the family.

I like Hungarian hot paprika, and always a little brown sugar in my rubs.

I agree with the hot Hungarian Paprika and the brown sugar. I found in slow smoked that small amounts of brown sugar goes a long way though.

I am half Magyar so that explains my love of paprika smile

my wife worked many years for a Hungarian PhD Chemist. He has become extremely wealthy due to his patents. Among other things, he owns a castle in Bercel Hungary. He holds an honorary title of Count
Wife likes to tell folks she works for a mad scientist, a Count that owns a castle in the Carpathians. laugh
