Anyone know of a source for a good 209 conversion kit for a .50 cal Remington 700 ML? I've seen a few Remington versions for sale, but some guys say they're a real POS. Looking for something that works and won't break the bank (not interested in a $200.00 .32 ACP conversion). Thanks in advance.

I've got a brand new never installed Remington kit I don't need, I don't know anything about them being a POS. PM me if you want. $55 TYD

I have the one in the first link in the post above.

I used this conversion on a rifle my dad had. Uncle now has it. Wasn't too big a deal to swap out and works as advertized. Holds a 209 in place and the bolt semi protects if from the elements.

Not quite as protected as my TC Omega but using common sense, primer should be protected well enough.

Functions great and shoots great...

I got no complaints.

I just put a kit on mine and it is exactly like the Savage ML with the primer going onto the nose of the bolt and completely enclosed when bolt is shut. It is more expensive but a good version compared to the one with vent holes around the side of the breech plug where the primer goes. That one has lots of blow back. I have shot this one several times today and seems to work well with BH 209. Will be glad to get you name if you wish.

I don't make this one, but I do sell it. $100 or $125 if I install it.
