It was a very popular target round 100+ years ago. Franklin Mann and Niedner used the case to make .22 centerfires in their early experiments, then switched to the .32/40 when they couldn't get the velocities they were trying for. I should think that in a box as nice as that, they should be worth some serious coin to a collector (or a shooter- imagine trying to find brass for that one). I would try flogging it over on the ASSRA web site. You'll probably find your biggest audience there.

I had a Martini 30 years ago that Wayne Schwartz barreled for me in his ersatz straight walled .28/30 wildcat (made from .30/30 or .32/40 brass) that was a cast bullet shooting ace. I traded it for a HiWall R2 Lovell by Jerry Gebby because I felt a strong need to assassinate groundhogs.

A fairly rare bird these days. You might look or ask on the Cartridge Collectors forum on www.gunboards.com It is far down their list of forums. Also the "Single Shot Rifles" forum here, although your best bet IS ASSRA.
