On the instructions with the kit it says to grind oFf an 1/8 inch off of the shroud where the safe will rotate enough to clear the cocking piece. Will there be other modifications that might be needed?
Thanks

On a 96 Swede, I had to take a few thousandths off of the fireing pin sear so the saftey would lift it off the trigger. With out that modification, if one pulled the trigger with the safety on and then released the safety, the firing pin would drop. About 5 minutes with the Dremel and I had it tuned to perfection.
If one has issues, I've found Mr Traister to be quite helpful over the phone.
If one has doubts or doesn't quite understand the trigger/safety mechanics, I'd advise going to a smith.

Make sure that when you grind that 1/8 inch off the shroud you do it as a notch. When you swing that safety down into the fire position it has to drop into that notch to hold it in place.
