What are some of your opinions of this "Advanced Tactical Hunter" as a all around predator, smaller game/deer rifle?
I was looking at their line of Varmint rifles, but this one has some advanced options and the .75" group guarantee as well.
Thanks! Keith

Ok...since no one else will i'll comment.
You can't buy a better AR in my opinion...I bought one and love it. The Handguard is cool as hell. It shoots real well with both Hornady Match 75gr. HPBT and Nosler Custom Comp. 77gr. BTHP ammo. Around 3/4MOA... Get it!

Thanks for the input! Yes, I had noticed that it wasn't drawing a lot of response, but figured folks were busy.
I'm fairly certain I'll buy it as soon as I can arrange the funds. Will probably put some items on the classifeds to come up with the cash...
Thanks again!

You're welcome. I think i paid around $1300 for mine...I believe RRA to be the best AR on the market for the money...LaRue, Noveske, Les Baer are good...But more money...Les Baer are nice for around $2000..and come with a 1/2MOA guaruntee...but some people have a hard time getting that out of them.
Also...you will have to be patient...took like 2-3 months for me to get mine after i ordered it....RRA is very busy.

Looks to be a pretty sweet, practical all around rifle. Waiting 2-3 months would be no big deal to me.
If I am going to have the rifle for many, many years to come, what is a few months to wait?
Besides, that would give a guy time to save for a really good piece of glass + mount. Maybe a Nightforce 2.5-10 NPR-2 w/ Zero Stop turrets.
That combo would be killer. A guy could not feel bad about selling a couple other rarely used guns to finance that one "exactly what I want" gun that will always get grabbed when it is time to hunt.

Exactly Mack.....theres a Winchester "Coyote" model 70 in .243 Win setting int he safe that I haven't used in quite awhile that might take a ride. Then again I might start moving some of this fish8ing gear I've been setting on sice I quit fishing Walleye tournaments years ago..... Thanks fellas!

I'll just say at least handle it before you order one. I hate the hand guard, it's heavy and awkward. There's better options out there for me but if it suits you then don't worry about what anyone else thinks about it.

Thanks! Keith I think it is too heavy personally. I choose the Coyote Carbine instead and saved about 3/4 pound. Same accuracy, same trigger, ect. but lighter and easier to pack around.

It's a fine compromise between the heavy bull barrel models...and the light barreled combat models.

That was kind of my thinking as well. That and I was wanting to stay with the 1 in 8" as well.

Correct...so you can run the heavy bullets that handle the wind better.
And the handguard is a matter of opinion...i like it because it has the round part for your hand on off hand shots but also has the rails for bipod...sling...and flashlight/laser options....best of both worlds in my opinion!

That was kind of my thinking as well. That and I was wanting to stay with the 1 in 8" as well. Don't sell the 1-9" short. I few months ago I read an article on AR-15 twist, and the 1-9 shot everything well up to the 77gr bullets while still spinning the 40s into little clusters.
I don't drink or Smoke. I spend my money on gunpowder and gasoline.
