Hey Gents, Midway is running a sale on 140 grain Nosler Partitions for 25 bucks a box.

They may certainly not be necessary in the little Swede and like cartridges, but my Swede loves 'em, and at 2750 fps there's not much in the USA I wouldnt take on with them.

Just thought I'd pass this along. smile

One problem I could see right offwith useing them bullets is......you may actually kill your game too dead. They might be dead standing on their feet......or it's possible they might be dead before they hit the ground. Yes, I realize it's a difficult concept to grasp but it is possible to over-penetrate and over-kill at the same time.

Considerate post Gunner. Good on ya.

Thanks gunner,

I would hate to be thought of as a "too dead killer".
Only thing worse would be a "not dead enough killer".
But a "not dead enough killer" can shoot again without being called a "two shot too dead killer".

That is just about as low as you can go.

I better stick to regular bullets so as not to be associated with that bunch.

Yes. And I think Gunner is right about the 6.5, especially with the Partitions.
