Is there anyone still making Tapered Post with Crosshair Reticule???..

I love that thing!.. Since Premier Reticule is no longer doing conversions.. I'm stuck without a source for conversion, let alone buying a new scope.

Thanks for your Help

There are reticles Leupold will install that are not shown online. I'm not sure but check with the custom shop. IIRC someone here had a reticle change done and that's what he got. In Euro scopes that type of reticle is called a #2.

Mike,
I very much agree with your opinion of the post reticle and also miss Premier as I have several scopes that they installed posts in.

Please advise us if Leupold will install a post. I bought one of the new 3X and compromised with that big European German #1 or some such...abysmal thing......the heavy side bars block game shots...

Please keep us informed of availability.

I sent in my old 4X28 Leupold once for a new reticle, and, instead of a Post & Duplex, I got a sort of post and crosshair.
It was a tapered post that came to a point, and a crosswire that ran to the top of the post's point, not below it like the old B&L scopes. The crosswire was pretty thin and had no taper.
While interesting and more desirable to me than the old tapered post and crosswire design, I sent the scope back for the reticle I had ordered. I like the Post & Duplex alot better. Much heavier thick sections and even some ranging ability. E

Call the custom shop. I've seen several posts here at the campfire stating there are older reticles still available. I would ask a custom shop customer service rep for his email address and email a picture of what you want.

Burris used to offer it but they seem to have dropped it as well. I have it in a 4x Burris on a Marlin .356.
