Anyone have any good loads worked up using this bullet or any of the Hornady 139gr bullets other than the GMX? (No loads using other brands of bullets please and thank you).

R17 works really well in my 788 in 7/08 with about any bullet weight.

I'm using Varget with the flat base version though I don't see lots of difference with RL-15 or Big Game in my SC M70 Fwt.

Old and boring but the 4350s work really well, especially the "new" Hodgdon short-cut stuff.
Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

Another RL17 fan here. Killed several Caribou with it. Just don't remember the specific load anymore. Load data went with the rifle when I sold it.

H4350, Big Game, and Varget for me. I have standardized on Big Game, but I used whatever I could get during the late ammo/component shortage. All three were fine in my rifle with Big Game giving similar accuracy with more velocity.

While not the BTSP, I loaded the 139gr flat based Spire Points and 48.5gr H-4350 for a friend. Shot great, killed deer fine.

Seems like I've heard 48-50gr of H-4350 is the norm? I'll be working with the 7-08 soon and keep lots of H-4350 on hand.
Now with even more aplomb

Varget and IMR 4064 for me have been terrific with the flat base 139 Hornady. Killed my deer just fine too. Even pushed them out to about 360 yards iirc.

I shoot 47.5 gr. of Big Game with the 139 gr. Interlock FB. I have also used 48.0 gr. of H4350, but like BG a little better. These are not starting loads however. Both loads shoot great in my rifle.

47.0 gr of 2000MR is Horn's max load with this weight bullet. It gives very good groups and 2940 fps in the wife's 7-08ai using the 139 gr SP.

43-43.5g of rl-15. About 2830fps from my faux Ti.
