now that's an interesting take. It has been suggested that I could get the barrel set back to shorten the throat. guess that wouldn't solve the loose neck problem, though. I'm thinking about just getting it rebarreled in the same caliber or .... gasp .... .257 bob.
No but if you set the barrel back & run a 280 reamer in it it will fix both problems, long throat & loose neck.
My opinion is a finer more versitile cartridge than a 280 is hard to find
