What a mule this machine is. The first ride was strange as I've been on street bikes a lot. Just awsome feel and will do just about anything you have the kahoonies to ask it. Did an impulsive purchase and even though I offered to trade in my first born son, I still had to dig deep into my check book.

The Rokon is not in the same league as the other 4 wheel ATVs, thankfully, IMO. It fits a perfect niche. It goes albeit not as fast as the rest of the gang, where the gang can't go the Rokon shines and that suits me fine. That's what's kept me from buying a 4 wheeler in the past. I can drive my truck to most mountain trails but the trails then get very narrow and you just can't go as far as I'd like....but now it's a different story. This is a hunting machine that'll be in the family forever. So in the end if you spread the outrageous price over the long run, the bite is not so bad.

Now to find a few souls that want to explore Treasure Valley and beyond.

Is it true that a Rokon can float?

Some models have hollow drum wheels that you can put in extra gas or water. I think the bigger drum (15") can carry 2.5 extra gallons in each tire. When the drums are empty the machine can be floated across deep water and started again provided you keep the carb out of the water.....not difficult to do but I've never gone there !!
