A late report on the weezil, she's doing fine, everything went as planned today.

Tomorrow will be a firewood cutting day, we're taking a couple of old trucks out to the cabin, both with 8' beds and we want to fill them both with firewood for home.

we (she) did it! I'm so proud to be in my shoes. I still don't know what she sees in me, but she's my world and I'm hers, so I reckon it works. truly blessed.

on a side note, my dad woke up this morning at 1 am and decided to say a little prayer for kendra and us. at that moment we were leaving for the hospital. we never even saw a deer or elk or antelope on the road the whole 60 mile trip (up hwy 79) which is RARE for the middle of the night. I did almost smudge two coyotes but they were quick. Prayer works!

That's great Ryan! Glad you are settled in at home.

We're off to the woods to get a start on annual firewood cutting (for home, the cabin wood pile still looks good)

But I have to post up this picture for Dusty.

It looks like someone is waiting for you to come visit your deer stand.

They're both keepers Ryan.

We had our first snow of the season. According to the manager at the local Hardee's they're were big wet snow flakes mixed in with the rain around 5 AM. I had to clear slush off the windshield.

I'll be moving the boat around this morning so I can get my car in the garage. Time to start doing the fall projects.

Look like a nice healthy mature doe! Good to see some timber goats showing back up around there.

Did some scouting down around Duluth at one of T-Zone's spots yesterday. 'Can't get over how much a clear cut grows in one year. It was my self, my son (JustOneGunner) and his girlfriend, The Skirt. Sign was pretty thin-no rubs, tracks, or recent browse nippings.

Heard Duluth had a 10th of an inch of snow on the ground Saturday. Earliest measurable snow ever recorded there.

Everythings covered with frost here this AM.

Ryan, are you bringing Kendra and the little one home today?

we got home last night around 6 or so. we could have stayed longer but mama just wanted to be home, can't blame her there. baby is sleeping soundly now, I made sausage eggs and english muffins for breakfast. Baby is sleeping with a full tummy, Kendra is just now laying down for a much needed nap.
