Took this on trade. From the research I have done these were discontinued a few years back. The book shows these at around $650. I would like $550 or shoot me an offer.

Rossi Stainless

Correct! You can get it with the recoil pad and the tub loader like this one. $719 for the standard and not sure if/how much extra for the tube feed and recoil pad. I think I am priced pretty well within reason. Thanks for finding the info, I appreciate it! Casey

I have had a ton of interest and some decent offers. I am going to stay strong at $525 shipped. If I can't get that I will keep a cool little saddle gun. Thanks for all the offers. Casey
PS I am still open to trade ideas. I have had some nice offers, but nothing that seemed to tickle my fancy, I guess the estrogen in me can't give a definate idea on what will trip the trigger on a trade.

I am a lefty so things with the bolt on the wrong side always catch my eye. Also, a Ruger #1 in a kids size caliber... that would work for both my son and I that I could pack around for him. In need of a spotting scope to...Had a lot of interest on trades so just trying to come up with what might make a deal. Of course, cash always makes me smile....

I have one too, packs great, this one looks like a nicer light finish, the wood on mine is dark. Is this one a 16" also? Bump for a good pig carbine.

Well, if I remember right, a face to face delivery would be about 400+ miles. I live in Columbus 40 miles west of Billings!
I have left a message on his cell phone, so I do expect to be in touch with him shortly!!!
Have you shot this carbine? Does it look as good on the other side? I know he will ask some questions, but he will trust my judgement even if he doesn't see the picture posted.
I have a FFL and was trying to find him one of them new and nobody where I looked even list that model. And that was the model I was looking for!!
I will keep in touch,
Ken

PS I just looked on the map, Huson is only 323 miles. laugh

Ken,
From what I can find, they show a similar model on their web page, but to get it with but pad and tube loading it must be a special order. The guy I got it from said it was "over $700" when he got it. I see the list price is $719... so guessing with the options he had to pay that range. The rifle has been used, but not abused. I have not shot it. It looks as good on the other side. There are some light scratches and it is not new in box level, but very good shape. I have no prob sending more pics via text if you'd like and have no problem with an inspection, if not happy with condition send it back. I don't anyone headed to Columbus anytime soon, I might run over to Bozeman if you knew anyone there. Shoot me a text if you want more pics. Casey
