Anybody have any views or insight on these lever actions. Thinking of buying one and don't now much about them, other than it's a sweet looking rifle.

They are great little rifles.....but pretty sure that only standard velocity ammo ONLY can be fired in the 1892 and 1897. I have an 1897 and it is a great little rifle! you will enjoy it.
