Haven't heard of such a presentation. Winchester (Olin) went out of business in 1980 (sold to employees) as US Repeating Arms (went out of business in 1989) and then, sold to Hartzel (FN, Browning, etc.). With all these changes, I assumed the practice of presenting the US President an engraved rifle was over. It would sure be interesting to get some solid facts on this stuff. Anyone have any connections with what's currently operating under the name Winchester? Perhaps someone can contact Lee24; he is the Winchester expert! Remember him? - he had the only 375H&H Model 70 marked "Made in Columbia, SC"?
