I saw a rifle I am interested in online in a Cabelas back east. I was wondering if that store can ship the rifle to the Boise gun library, hopefully for no charge?

Yes, but my experience has been that you would have to pay for shipping.

I bought a pair of rifles a year or so ago from a Cabelas out West, they would have transferred them to the Mitchel, SD store for free (although the guy said it'd probably take a week or two).
ie: Guns are put on a truck and kind of work their way across the country. That was the free way, I'm sure they'd ship them for a cost as well.
He than asked if I just wanted them shipped to my local FFL as the Mitchell store was two hours away. Ended up shipping the pair for 20.00 bucks, couldn't drive their to pick them up for that little bit.
Life is just one damned thing after another
