Hey, I have one of those in 22 LR. Also have a Tiger Shark in 308. I dropped it into a McMillan HTG but I can't bring myself to sell the stock.

You made a counter offer to me and you should have waited for me to respond.

I was at work and didn't return until late this evening/early AM.

I'm glad you sold it, but I wish you would have went about it in the correct way.

Thanks anyway.

You made a low offer. I made a counter offer, you read it, the PM was marked as unread by "none" for the better part of a day, you did not respond. In the meantime I had another offer. I accepted the offer, and was paid for it via Paypal before you even responded to my follow up PM to you that I had sold it.

I went about it the correct way. If you want something, then say "I'll take it" and lay off the low offer, there's no confusion about that! (though I do not discourage any offers, I handle them all with courtesy).

Talk to one person who has ever bought from me and you'll realize real quick I am more than fair. I generally ship items the next day without receipt of payment first. The only time I receive payment before shipment is if paypal is used.

If anyone wants to discuss this shoot me a PM and I'll send you my phone number. We'll talk!

Low offer? It was $40 less than you were asking, not including FFL or anything else. I'm sorry Clint, but I didn't low ball you, I just made you an offer. I did not receive your counter-offer until I returned home from work this AM. If your counter offer PM to me was marked "read" and I didn't respond back, heck I would have sold the gun also. I don't like to play the games some people like to play.

However, I truly did not read the PM or even have a chance to since I was working. I just wish I had the opportunity to respond to your counter, that's all. The "I'll take it" argument isn't really a fair one. There is nothing wrong with making an offer. I would have bought the gun and accepted your counter if I was given the chance.

Nothing here questions your integrity as a person or seller. I'm sure you're more than fair and you definitely have dealt on here more than I have. I just see this situation a little differently than you do.

I'm glad you sold the gun. I wish you and yours a Happy Holiday season.

If you could, please tell whomever you sold it to look me up if the gun isn't to his liking. I'd be interested in it if he'd like to re-sell. I'd appreciate that.
