That's an usual trophy. A hunter I knew got one with only one back leg once and it ran/acted like normal. No idea it was missing a leg until he walked up to the deer.

Did you notice any asymmetrical muscle structure due to the balance compensation for the the missing leg? Looks like he's been that way a while, figured maybe he was bulkier on one side over the other.
