I am considering the purchase of a BPS. Back when i was a kid it was the shotgun i learned to hunt/shoot with. Here is the issue I have. When i bring them to my shoulder my eye is to low. Meaning that all i see is the back of the receiver. Is there an adjustment that can be made fairly easily? Maybe something as simple as a stock pad? Can an adjustment to the angle of the butt pad adjust the sight plane? I usually need to shorten the LOP about a 1/4" as well.

Before you go doing anything or spending money I would go to a coach that knows what they are doing to ensure that you have a good repeatable mount. I have seen more times then not a person with a bad unrepeatable mount spend time and money for nothing. Sure they got adjustements but still a bad mount which means bad shooting.

If you want the comb higher, I don't think Browning has any shims or anything for their guns that you could change, but erich is right above, an adjustable comb is the best way to go, a friend of mine and a gunsmith that just retired used to charge around $125-$150 to install them, not sure if you want to spend that much on your gun, but it's an option. Another option is to put moleskin on the comb, which doesn't look as nice, but it works, too. There are also some leather pads the wrap around the stock that will raise where your eye is, some of them have shell holders on the side for a way to hold some extra ammo, whatever you want to do, it's your gun and your money, but those are pretty much your options.

Just saw where you need a shorter LOP (length of pull), as well, you can either get a shorter recoil pad, or cut the stock, but to be honest, 1/4" isn't going to make that big of a deal. I would leave it as is.
