Model: 4" Denali

A few months ago I started a WIP thread on a folder I was building for Mr. Grahn. I apologize for abandoning that project. Far to time consuming, time that I just did not have. I still managed to complete the knife. This is a debt that I will be glad to have paid.

Specs:
Blade: My 17 x 24 layer laddered "W's" Damascus, 1095 & 15n20 steel
Frame: .070 6AL4V titanium anodized steel blue
Scales: Creme Mammoth Ivory with thin black liners
Bolsters: Chad Nichols explosion damascus, 1095 and pure nickel, Heat blued
Back Bar: file worked saw blade steel, Heat blued to a burgandy color
Pocket clip: Chad Nichols Moku-Ti damascus

Thumb stud is 416 SS inlaid with ivory, knife is fileworked throughout.

Concealed lockbar and pivot

Open: 9 1/4"
Closed: 5 5/16"

I hope you enjoy the photos. Thanks for looking

WOW is right!

That's really impressive David. Your attention to detail is spectacular. That's a real piece of work! The small things you've done to make that knife so special are...well, special!

and we all, without a doubt, would say thank you for posting this inspiration to all knifemakers everywhere who have benchmarks like this to aim for.
