Looking for some loads in particular for 200 gr Partitions. Just picked one up and haven't found much on it. I have RE-22 and Imr 7828 on hand. Any manuals with good info to look for?

Nosler manual is decent. You can get some older out of print data if you buy one of the One Book One Caliber manuals. They have data from all powder manf.'s and most bullet manf.'s but it tends to be older data. Be carefull with Nosler's R-22 data. With the 180g NBT I was 2g below max. charge and getting over 200fps over listed velocity for max charge. Only very slightly flattened primers. Without my chrony; I would have kept shooting. But the 3500fps on my chrony made my internal alarm bells ring.

I actually use those most of the time, probably start with one. I am curious about the newer powders RL-25 and so on.

I have not tried 200 NP bullets but I found RL22 to work very well in my 8mm mag with 200 TSX and 220 Hornady's. IMR7828 also did very well accuracy wise with the 200 TSX.

My two favorite bullets, Nosler PT and the TSX.

Thanks to both of you, I'm starting with IMR 7828. I've worked with a 375 H&H and 300 win mag so hopefully recoil won't be a problem. I'll go from there on powders and bullets just trying to get a baseline right now. The original pad may get changed.

Start at 78 gr of H4831 and 81 gr of RL25. Both will do close to 3150 fps

Tried IMR 7828 today with 200 gr Nosler PT's. Didn't run any over the chronograph but grouping was good. Shot about 14 rounds, 4 of which were starting loads with a 170 gr power point (73 grs of 4350). Got it on paper and finished those up. 83 grs of 7828 grouped about 1 1/8" and 83.5 grs went into a 3 shot group of 1" or under the 4th went into a hole somewhere close. Didn't check the target except through the spotter, just preliminary work and getting use to the rifle.
Recoil was not bad at all, maybe due to the magnaporting but I am happy with the rifle. A decellerator pad, trigger job and some fine tuning are in order though. I want to try RL-25 and 22 in it also and whatever shoots best will get the nod.
