I need some help trying to figure out what a Marlin 22WMR SHOTGUN is worth. It is NIB. I think they only made them for a year or two but I haven't seen one for sale to have any idea what they are worth. Can anyone help me out?

If you get squirrels in your aluminum irrigation pipes, this is the gun for you!

Marlin 25MG Garden Gun http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BQY/is_3_46/ai_59281208/

Current Blue Book 32nd Edition: Manufactured: 99-02
100% - 190 (NIB?)
98% - 155
95% - 130
90% - 110
80% - 100 (etc.)

Just didn't seem to catch on. Personally I like the WMR power but they are way too loud for discreet late night or non-irritating the neighbors type shooting.

Best of luck with it.

Don't know what the garden gun is going for. But , I do know The Blue Book is the most over-rated source out there.
A NIB garden gun would be worth 2-300 bucks, IMHO
I also know the garden gun with CCI .22mag. will sweep a starling off a bird feeder at 25 feet and it won't get up.
The old Rem and Win .22 LR smooth bores aren't worth a crap, except to a collector, god I hate collectors, love enthusiasts.

I'm confident you can convince the OP by showing him the green.

Geezer

Why would I show him the"green"? It's not St Paddy's Day?
Besides, I have a Garden gun , maybe you couldn't figure that out.

Prices are market driven, or to put another way, whatever someone will pay for an item.
I stand by my statement Fjestad's Blue book is the most over-rated source out there!

Gotta knock some starlings around with my Garden gun.

The Blue Book is a good starting point. I subscribe to the online edition, a lot of very good information in there.

Thanks for the info and all the PM's. I bought it and put it in the safe in 1999 because I just KNEW they wouldn't sell for crap. I am just trying to decide if I have kept it long enough yet or if it needs to stay in the safe for another 10 years or so.

I may sell this gun but I would appreciate it if the offers of $100 would quit. I believe I gave around $200 for it 13 years ago so that is a pretty poor return on my money.

It sounds like I will be dead and gone before this is worth more than I paid for it. Maybe my great, great, great grandkids will be able to sell it and get enough money for a burger out of it.

That sounds more realistic. I found it hard to believe that a limited production gun that is old and new in the box would be worth LESS that what it was new.

i have 1...would like to have another because i have 2 grandsons...but speaking to a earlier post...i also have a Remington 510 rutledge that i kill mocking birds very easily with also...dont think a remington rifle is any less than a marlin in other words...getting to the "Blue Book" i think it is a nationwide view of prices...just because a gun will not bring a good price in 1 part of the US dont mean it will not bring a better price in another part of the US...enough said
